A Message to all GDA Patients

Here at Greece Dermatological Associates the health and safety of our patients and our team is of the utmost importance to us.  In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been working diligently to ensure appropriate measures are in place so we have the least amount of disruption to “business as usual”.

First and foremost, Greece Dermatological Associates practices Universal Precautions every day, not just in the event of a health outbreak.  Universal Precautions includes hand washing, hand sanitizing, wearing protective equipment (gloves and masks), sterilization and disinfection of all instruments, chairs, etc. after EVERY PATIENT.  By following these precautions our team stays safe and our patients stay safe.

In September 2022, the CDC changed its masking guidelines in a healthcare setting.  Masks are now optional in our office for our staff and patients.

Please know that any member of our team who is sick, running a fever, or who may have been in contact with someone who is sick has been advised not to come to work.

We do kindly ask that ALL OF OUR PATIENTS please help too.  If you or a family member is sick, please call to reschedule your appointment.  There will be no fee for doing so.  We will gladly reschedule you.  We ask that if possible, please do not bring other guests or family members to your appointment, or please have them wait in the car.

We recommend that patients keep their appointments for skin cancer surgery, open sores, rashes that are symptomatic, spreading, or infected, or medicines that are being monitored such as Accutane, Biologics and methotrexate.  These medical problems will worsen if left untreated.

Our team will continue to work hard to preserve the well-being and health of our patients while practicing the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.  We look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Michael Bobrow, Dr. Walter Brooks, and Dr. Yana Ignatovich
